This is one of the covers for the big 100. The main cover is a double-page splash that will be a CHROMIUM cover, which I am way too excited about. I'll post that one soon. This one will be a variant type cover, pencils and inks by me, colors by John Rauch.

Hey Ryan! I just saw your interview on thecomicarchive on youtube, good stuff. I met you at the Oakland Image Expo and you drew me a really rad Rex Splode in my copy of Violence and Pinwheels. I didn't get a chance to really express how much I've been digging your art for the past couple of years. You draw the best blood splatters of all time -I remember that huge two page splash you drew when Invincible is with Omniman fighting against the Viltrumites on the bug planet, you drew this great action pin-up but had ... I think like 24 panels in the background depicting each little minutia of the fight. I still look back at that and think that that's just a masterpiece in story telling.

Please tell me it's not the death of Science Dog, I don't think I could take that.

Anyone know how many covers they're doing?

"100 Invincible Issues."

That just sounds so right. The invincible part, I mean, not that there are any "issues" to speak of! :D

But still, a hundred issues in a decade. Not bad, not bad at all!

It's true, I've seen covers like these before. But what I love about the execution of this is the wide plethora of differing character expressions, which makes the background characters feel organic and alive. John's soft earth tones contrasts beautifully with Invincible's full-body shot fit for a main character.

Been a loyal reader since around issue 75 and never looked back! Here's to another hundred! :cheer:
