Digital Layout, then I made those lines a light blue and printed it out on card stock. Then pencil and ink.

I was also curious about printing on card stock. Do you have a faincy printer? Mine is certainly nothing special. A regular HP scanner/printer and it has trouble printing even 8.5 x 11 card stock. Any recommendations? Also, do you print in blue line because when you scan back in, the scanner doesn't pick up the blue lines? I know old xerox copyers didn't pick up highlights or blue lines. Do you manipulate settings if that is the case?

As always, your work is impeccable. Glad you've been on Invincible so long. Thanks for doing such good work.

Its a scanner and printer all in one, 11x17. Brother puts it out, it's only about 250. It still picks up the blues a little, you just level those out though. No biggie.

Sweet! thanks for the response man. Insight into your work is always appreciated and VERY helpful. Peeks behind the process curtain help break down the awesomeness into manageable pieces.

thanks again.

How many hours takes it take you to finish a piece like this?

The process is awesome! Did you ink this using a brush? What ink and brush did you use?

One more question (and thanks for the info). Where do you get your acid free 11x17 cardstock and what #? This is a great way to do layouts to finishes. My next step is throwing away my Wacom Tablet and getting that Cintiq!

This is very slick... My layouts look much more messy, but it's good to see another artist who's layout can't be printed and sold as as is..... They make me feel bad!
