Process for INVINCIBLE 100 large coverby ~WyA

First I did a digital layout, I printed it off in blue line. Did finished pencils over that. I got bored of finishing every figure so I started inking and finished the background characters as I went.

This probably sounds like a really stupid question, but how do you print it out as a blue line? do you change it in photoshop to a non-reproducable blue shade? or does any colour work?

Non-photo/reproducible isn't as elusive as it used to be.

It can be printed and scanned just fine, however, you can still get rid of it using the hue/saturation adjuster in photoshop if you like.

Most artist that sketch in color just prefer the visual separation it provides. I'll usually sketch in blue, but as I refine what I'm working on I'll switch to red (or green on occasion). Then when I'm inking, I find it easier to tell the black inked lines from color lines than I would lighter gray lines.

The blood spatter near your signature on Allen's shoulder makes it look like you wrote 'CRyan'. Were you 'crying' after working so hard on this? lol
