I did this for my friends son, his 7th birthday is coming up and he's totally into Star wars. He's been asking his Dad if I could draw him something Star Warsy for a while now. I wish I had more time to work on this thing, especially the colors. So it's a little rough but I don't mind how it turned out. I used HB pencil, Staedtler pens for ink, a prisma black marker to fill in the blacks. And Copic markers for color. And then a Sharpie White out pen for the finishing touches.
You magnificent jerkface. This is so great. I love the composition and Yoda's quote is obviously modernized (does that work? I mean Star Wars is ahead of our time, y'know? But still... old? I'm hurting myself thinking about this...) but it's still very in-character. I love it! The kiddo is goin to be so excited.

A Sharpie white-out pen...I don't know why I never thought to try using one with my feeble marker coloring attempts...I even had one for a while when I used to ink my drawings by hand.
This looks pretty good too, especially since you went through the effort to draw something this good for someone else's kid, just to be nice.
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!

I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
