so awesome, always wanted to see your work in-progress tactics. not so supernatural as i thought. Still one of my favorite comic artists out there, keep being amazing!
What kind of tablet did you use to draw this? I'm getting very curious about digital media and I've been eyeing the Wacom Bamboo Splash tablet. Would that be a good choice for someone who's just getting started in this kind of media?
Wow. I just saw a demonstration of the Cintiq 21 ux on youtube and I think I drooled during the entire video. Then I saw how much one of those were Looks like I'll be saving up for a while. Thanks for answering, hope you have a good day
Hey, I just got a Bamboo medium pen and touch for about $100. It's no cintiq, but it's actually really big! If you get used to it, it can work almost as well. I like the fact that my hand is never in the way. I put it on an inclined support in front of my iMac and program the buttons to flip the image, zoom, undo, change brush, etc. The surface feels like paper and it creates a great sketching feeling. I would recommend it to anyone on a budget!
Thank you for the advice I actually got a Bamboo splash as a present last Friday and I love it! Since I've never worked in this medium, I'm trying to get used to the pen and tablet, but I'm doing surprisingly well with my first picture. I decided to try something easy and draw Calvin & Hobbes before I jump into anything super detailed. Hopefully I'll be posting that on here soon. Thank you again for the advice, much appreciated
